The Curaprox ATA - Atraumatic Total Access Toothbrush with 4860® Curen Bristles ends excessive brushing pressure on your gums. The round handle motivates people to grip with their fingers. It’s almost impossible to grip with the fist and exert too much pressure.
This toothbrush is excellent for people with with tooth cleaning damage: brushing the teeth using pressure is almost impossible. Why? Its round handle does not have a thumb depression and motivates users to grip with their fingers. This helps to keep pressure to a minimum and makes an ATA the ideal learning toothbrush in the transition from a CS 5460 ultra soft to a CS single: the technique of brushing each tooth individually is trained just as much as using soft bristles without any pressure.
