This bandage can also be used to protect dressings, devices, and for postoperative compression in orthopedic surgery. Coban™ Self-Adhering Bandages are used for injuries, sprains, and to protect dressings and devices. They are indicated for surgical dressings, securing dressings and medical devices, and immobilizing limbs. They are not effective for the treatment of venous ulcers.

The bandage contains a cohesive material that allows it to adhere to itself, eliminating the need for tapes, hooks, or pins for adjustment.
Maintains uniform compression and will not slip or loosen.
Prevents maceration and compromises skin integrity. Lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and highly adaptable to anatomically complex areas such as the elbow, knee, or heel.
Contains latex.
Does not adhere to skin, hair, or surgical clothing, and leaves no residue on the skin. Lightweight and moisture-resistant, it dries easily if exposed to water.
