14K Gold-Filled Curb Chain Necklace, 2.25 mm

A true bestseller, refined to its purest form.

The Maison Curbé™ is one of our most trusted and requested pieces, a bestselling essential designed for those who value longevity, craftsmanship, and understated luxury. Created in the USA by experienced fine-jewelry designers, this chain is crafted from 14K gold-filled construction, offering the look, feel, and durability of solid gold at a more accessible investment level.

Its classic curb chain profile (2.25 mm) delivers a perfectly balanced presence, elegant enough to wear alone, strong enough to anchor a pendant, and timeless enough to remain relevant for decades. The high-polish finish enhances the gold’s warmth, while the secure lobster clasp ensures confidence in everyday wear.

This is not seasonal jewelry.
This is a lifetime investment piece built to be worn daily, layered effortlessly, and kept for years.

How to Care for Your Jewelry

A little care keeps your Oxfordum pieces looking their best. Follow these simple guidelines.

Solid Gold (10K, 14K, 18K)

• Clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush; rinse and pat dry.
• Remove before swimming in chlorinated pools, cleaning with household chemicals, or heavy work.
• Store pieces separately so harder stones and chains don't scratch softer gold.

Gold Vermeil & Gold-Filled

• Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising.
• Avoid perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals directly on the piece.
• Store in a cool, dry place — ideally in a pouch or jewelry box.
• Clean with a soft dry cloth after wearing.

Sterling Silver

• Silver naturally tarnishes over time — this is normal.
• Polish with a silver cloth to restore shine.
• Store in an airtight bag or box to slow tarnishing.
• Avoid exposure to chlorine, saltwater, and sulfur.

Plated Pieces

Plating (such as gold or rhodium plating) is a thin surface layer and wears gradually with use. Keep plated pieces away from water, perfume and friction, and check each product page for its specific care notes.

General Tips

• Put jewelry on last — after makeup, hairspray, and perfume.
• Remove before sleeping to prevent bending or breakage.
• Store pieces separately to avoid scratching.
