Amélie 14K Gold-Filled 1 mm Cable Chain Necklace

The chain that lets everything else fall into place. Amélie is a polished 14K yellow gold-filled cable chain with a delicate 1 mm profile, bringing a refined line of warmth to the neckline without competing for attention.

Wear it alone for a barely-there finish, layer it with contrasting chains, or pair it with a lightweight pendant or charm to make the look your own. Its classic cable links catch the light subtly, making this dainty gold-filled chain an effortless foundation for everyday styling.

Available in lengths from 16 to 24 inches, Amélie can sit close to the collarbone or fall lower along the neckline. Finished with a classic spring-ring clasp, it is simple, versatile, and designed for countless jewelry combinations.

How to Care for Your Jewelry

A little care keeps your Oxfordum pieces looking their best. Follow these simple guidelines.

Solid Gold (10K, 14K, 18K)

• Clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush; rinse and pat dry.
• Remove before swimming in chlorinated pools, cleaning with household chemicals, or heavy work.
• Store pieces separately so harder stones and chains don't scratch softer gold.

Gold Vermeil & Gold-Filled

• Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising.
• Avoid perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals directly on the piece.
• Store in a cool, dry place — ideally in a pouch or jewelry box.
• Clean with a soft dry cloth after wearing.

Sterling Silver

• Silver naturally tarnishes over time — this is normal.
• Polish with a silver cloth to restore shine.
• Store in an airtight bag or box to slow tarnishing.
• Avoid exposure to chlorine, saltwater, and sulfur.

Plated Pieces

Plating (such as gold or rhodium plating) is a thin surface layer and wears gradually with use. Keep plated pieces away from water, perfume and friction, and check each product page for its specific care notes.

General Tips

• Put jewelry on last — after makeup, hairspray, and perfume.
• Remove before sleeping to prevent bending or breakage.
• Store pieces separately to avoid scratching.
