The quiet foundation behind the jewelry you wear most.
Auréline is a refined 1 mm cable chain created for customers who prefer their gold jewelry delicate, versatile and effortless. Its closely connected polished links form a fine line of warm yellow gold color, giving the chain an understated presence when worn alone and a clean foundation for compatible pendants.
Choose the 16-inch length for a close neckline, 18 inches for a classic everyday fit, 20 inches for additional drop or 24 inches for a longer silhouette. The adjustable 16–18-inch option offers greater styling flexibility, while the adjustable 6 1/2–7 1/2-inch length carries the same delicate cable design into a coordinating bracelet.
The supplier identifies the chain quality as 14K yellow gold-filled and the finish as 14K yellow gold plated. This is gold-filled jewelry with a plated finish, not solid 14K gold. The distinction is stated clearly so every customer understands the material they are selecting.
Completed with solid chain construction, a polished surface and a traditional spring-ring clasp, Auréline is an essential chain designed to move easily between everyday styling, layered necklaces and more personal pendant combinations.

Gold-Filled
Our gold-filled jewelry refers to a layer of 14K or 18K yellow gold that is soldered or mechanically bonded under heat and pressure to one or more surfaces of a base metal. The gold must be at least ¹⁄₂₀ of the total weight of the piece. This technique offers a significantly thicker layer of gold on the piece compared to other options and offers an appealing balance between cost and quality.

How to Care for Your Jewelry
A little care keeps your Oxfordum pieces looking their best. Follow these simple guidelines.
Solid Gold (10K, 14K, 18K)
- Clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush; rinse and pat dry.
- Remove before swimming in chlorinated pools, cleaning with household chemicals, or heavy work.
- Store pieces separately so harder stones and chains don't scratch softer gold.
Gold Vermeil & Gold-Filled
- Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising.
- Avoid perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals directly on the piece.
- Store in a cool, dry place — ideally in a pouch or jewelry box.
- Clean with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
Sterling Silver
- Silver naturally tarnishes over time — this is normal.
- Polish with a silver cloth to restore shine.
- Store in an airtight bag or box to slow tarnishing.
- Avoid exposure to chlorine, saltwater, and sulfur.
Plated Pieces
Plating (such as gold or rhodium plating) is a thin surface layer and wears gradually with use. Keep plated pieces away from water, perfume and friction, and check each product page for its specific care notes.
General Tips
- Put jewelry on last — after makeup, hairspray, and perfume.
- Remove before sleeping to prevent bending or breakage.
- Store pieces separately to avoid scratching.
