Océane is the kind of necklace that never needs to compete for attention. At its center, an oval natural aquamarine is held within a refined four-claw, bezel-style setting, allowing its serene blue color to remain the focus. Framed in polished 14K yellow gold vermeil and suspended from a delicate 18-inch cable chain, this natural aquamarine pendant necklace sits effortlessly against the neckline with a softness that feels both intimate and unmistakably elegant. Its timeless solitaire silhouette makes it refined enough for every day, while the cool blue gemstone brings just enough color to elevate white shirts, fine knits, and evening necklines. Aquamarine, the March birthstone, has long been associated with calm, clarity, and the sea, giving Océane a sense of meaning without making it feel overly sentimental. Wear it alone as a delicate blue gemstone necklace or layer it with fine gold chains for a more personal composition. Understated, luminous, and quietly distinctive, it is the piece you reach for when you want simplicity to feel anything but ordinary. As every aquamarine is natural, subtle variations in color and clarity make each necklace uniquely its own.

Tranquility, Calmness, Clarity
Reflecting the soothing and serene waters of the sea with its gorgeous blue color, Aquamarine was once believed to be the treasure of mermaids and used it as a talisman for safe passage across waters. It also resonates with purity, eternal youth, and a calming energy.
What Is Demi-Fine Jewelry?
Our demi-fine jewelry utilizes affordable metals, such as silver, and gold layering techniques to achieve the look and style of fine jewelry but set at a lower price point. Our demi-fine jewelry options not only adhere to the manufacturing standards established by the Federal Trade Commission but also elevate those standards to provide a luxurious product at an attainable price point.
Vermeil
Our vermeil jewelry refers to a sterling silver base plated in a layer of 14K or 18K yellow gold. However, the thickness of that layer is at least 2.5 microns. The added thickness of that gold plating offers greater protection against wear, allowing the piece to be worn longer without replating.

How to Care for Your Jewelry
A little care keeps your Oxfordum pieces looking their best. Follow these simple guidelines.
Solid Gold (10K, 14K, 18K)
- Clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush; rinse and pat dry.
- Remove before swimming in chlorinated pools, cleaning with household chemicals, or heavy work.
- Store pieces separately so harder stones and chains don't scratch softer gold.
Gold Vermeil & Gold-Filled
- Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising.
- Avoid perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals directly on the piece.
- Store in a cool, dry place — ideally in a pouch or jewelry box.
- Clean with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
Sterling Silver
- Silver naturally tarnishes over time — this is normal.
- Polish with a silver cloth to restore shine.
- Store in an airtight bag or box to slow tarnishing.
- Avoid exposure to chlorine, saltwater, and sulfur.
Plated Pieces
Plating (such as gold or rhodium plating) is a thin surface layer and wears gradually with use. Keep plated pieces away from water, perfume and friction, and check each product page for its specific care notes.
General Tips
- Put jewelry on last — after makeup, hairspray, and perfume.
- Remove before sleeping to prevent bending or breakage.
- Store pieces separately to avoid scratching.
